MAGNET CONTROLLER, E-MAG 4272 CAT 20KW 24-24VDC
The Hubbell Type 4272 CAT E-Mag Solid State magnet controller is for use with 20KW DC compound wound generators utilizing 24VDC fields and 24VDC battery voltage found on CAT material handlers. Includes OEM CAT connections to plug into existing circuits. It can be used with all types and makes of lifting magnets. It assures fast and clean release of all types of magnet loads. The E-mag incorporates solid state components arranged to provide a new concept in magnet controller design and operation. No contactors are required and the discharge path is electronically controlled to limit voltage spikes between 275-325 volts without use of power resistors or varistors. 30lbs, 16"W x 16"H x 6"D outdoor rated enclosure.
